Lewisville Water Utility is a municipally owned water utility that supplies the town of Lewisville with its supply of water for residential and commercial use. The water utility did a $1.5 million dollar major update in late 1990’s with the new water filtration plant, a new 2nd well, new water lines, new fire hydrants, and an on ground storage tank going on line in 2000. The town received close to a million dollars in a grant from the Indiana State Revolving Fund to help fund the new construction. The water utility serves approximately 220 customers. The water utility is a member of the Alliance of Indiana Rural Water.
